Campbell Gilliland is a student in Valencia's Programming and Analysis A.S degree program. Campbell is 26 years old and first attended college directly after high school in 2016. He struggled to complete school and dropped out in 2018. Campbell became an electrician, working for his father for over six years. He did not feel fulfilled by this career path and at the encouragement of his girlfriend, Campbell enrolled in UCF's web development bootcamp in the summer of 2023. After graduating from the bootcamp in December of that year, Campbell continued to work for his father while studying coding and web development on his own. In the fall of 2024, he decided it was time to take this new career path seriously and continue his education, so he stopped working for his father full time and went back to college. Campbell has experience working with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, as well as frameworks/libraries such as REACT and Tailwind. He is currently learning the C programming language through Valencia and is enjoying it.
Campbell loves listening to music of all kinds, but especially Hardcore/Metalcore, Rap, Post-Jazz, and World Music. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, watching movies, going on hikes, and reading together. He lives with two roommates who he has known since middle school, as well as his three cats. Campbell's favorite foods are sushi, gyros, and Turkish cuisine. Campbell is a big fan of horror films and enjoys playing video games when he has the time.
